About this masterclass
Dr Jonathan Firth explores how schools can enhance learning by equipping teachers and students with practical metacognitive strategies. Through explicit modelling, addressing misconceptions, and fostering reflective practice, he advocates for a collaborative classroom culture where understanding how to learn is as valued as what is learned, building student autonomy and long-term success.
