Edward discusses Rosenshine's Principles of Instruction and their relevance to Teaching and Learning practice. These principles include; reviewing previous lessons to enhance memory and knowledge; encouraging Retrieval Practice and utilising Cognitive Load Theory to prepare lessons that take into account the limits of Working Memory. Edward also discusses the need to provide the right amount of challenge and support to students in the classroom.

Edward Watson
Edward is an Oxford graduate who served seven years in the Army, worked in strategy management consultancy, and then in the video games industry. He founded InnerDrive in 2006, where he continues to design and deliver teacher CPD workshops throughout the UK and around the world.
